R & She has earned itself a great reputation for being one of the best queer R&B nights in London, Berlin and NYC.

Nobody celebrates the Queens of Hip-Hop and R&B quite like R & She does. From 90’s and 00’s classics to brand new club bangers from your favourite females, DJs Neil PrinceDavid Oh and QBoy expertly and passionately deliver killer sets every time to mad appreciative crowds!

Now in its 8th year, the original night dedicated to the Queens of Hip-Hop & R&B has supported and opened for super groups TLC and En Vogue and has had guest DJ slots by girl group, M.OMelanie Blatt of All Saints and the legendary DJ Spinderella of iconic hip-hop group Salt-N-Pepa. With residencies in London, Berlin and NYC, R & She Radio, legendary all day summer parties at Old Street’s Magic RoundaboutThe Cause and Dalston Roof Park plus rocking sets at festivals; Mighty HooplaGlastonburyThe Secret Garden Party and Amsterdam’s Milkshake, there is no stopping one of the most loved and welcoming R&B parties around.

Originally, DJs Neil PrinceDavid Oh and QBoy – all three long-time fanatics of female R&B and Hip- Hop – wanted to throw an event of their own favourite music and invited their closest gay friends who shared their passion. Starting out as a small party in a Dalston basement, it quickly had to switch venues to accommodate the ever-growing crowds – no longer was it just 100 gay men in attendance, now everyone and their girlfriend wanted to get down to R & She’s ultimate playlists. In 2018 QBoy and Neil Prince added a new feather to the R & She hat when they launched R & She Radio via East London’s Hoxton Radio. After the outrageous 1,500 strong turn out at the 5th and 6th birthday celebrations at London’s premiere gay club, Heaven, the diva fever returned to the mammoth venue for the 7th birthday last year with equal success. Add in some festival dates, summer BBQ all-dayers and a new Los Angeles launch and 2019 was ***Flawless, setting R & She up to continue to Cold Rock A Party in 2020!

R & She is a firm club and festival favourite enjoyed by a loyal crowd who know how to Get Ur Freak On and Boogie 2Nite - No Scrubs, just Hot Boyz and Hollaback Girls that Dip It Low, All Night Long!

'R & She' is the brainchild of Neil Prince, who once created the name enlisted David Oh and QBoy to jump on board. Recently playing across the UK and the US with Bananarama as their opening DJ for the Original Line Up Tour, he is currently resident at both of London’s biggest LGBTQ+ pop parties: ‘Sink The Pink’ and ‘G-A-Y Camp Attack!’. Neil also DJs and promotes ‘Power Brunch’ - the infamous power ballad request fest at Dalston Superstore alongside Miss Craig. A lover of all things eighties, Neil presents and produces his own podcast, ‘Retro Chart Trivia’. Here he recounts the facts and the feats from the factual to the ridiculous of the decade’s chart stars. Further current DJ residencies include 'The Grand' in Clapham and Peckham Levels, whilst Neil was also co-creator of East London's much missed poptastic party, 'Songs Of Praise’. An international player, he has played guest slots at ‘Love International Festival’ in Croatia, ‘Milkshake Festival’, Amsterdam and ‘European Gay Ski Week’ in France. Back on home turf, Neil plays for ‘Mighty Hoopla Festival’, ‘Guilty Pleasures’, Ace Hotel Shoreditch, the BFI, National Portrait Gallery and ‘Wedding Smashers’. Happy to swing from pop to R&B to disco to house, Neil boundlessly bangs them out. A party pleaser with a pop heart.
